A panel will appear to send the file as shown here:
You can also include a message in your email about the file. The email will include a link to quickly download the file to your computer. To learn more about using the Documents and Designs sections in your project management tool, visit these recent posts here.
Each of your projects in Projecturf has a Documents section for sharing and collaborating on files. When adding a new file, you can either select a file from a local drive or simply paste in the link to them if they are located elsewhere. For example, you can link to files on your own server, Google Drive, Dropbox, or Box. Just paste in the link as shown here:
This makes it easy to share files in your project management tool regardless of the file sharing service you use. You no longer have to hassle with emailing out files or keeping an updated file in multiple locations. You can also use the built in file versioning feature. With every file you share on your projects, you can set permissions and start discussions around them.
Your projects also integrate with Vimeo and Youtube which you can learn more about here. Linking to your videos in Projecturf allows you to view your videos inline, get approvals, and much more.
In each one of your projects, you can upload and share documents and designs. Anyone given permissions on the file is able to digitally approve it. As an example, if you've completed several design comps for a client, simply upload them to Projecturf and give access to the client. Once they approve your designs, you'll get an email confirming it's been approved and you'll maintain a history of the version that was approved, who approved it, and when it was approved. This helps cut back on emails and let's you centralize all the communication.
Each project also includes an Approvals report that let's you quickly view all approvals for a project. The report also shows how long they take to get approved and basic stats.
This Approvals report makes it easy to use your project management software to keep track of all approvals on your designs and documents. Approving files is as simple as clicking the approval icon and then clicking OK to confirm. To learn more about approving designs, visit this blog post.
The Documents section in Projecturf lets you upload all your project files, set permissions on them, create discussions, get them approved, and much more. You can also easily create folders for your files. This lets you keep all your files organized to quickly identify and access what you need. You can simply create folders when adding a file by clicking the new button to the right of the Add to Folder drop down as shown here:
To create several folders quickly, use the add new folder option on the far right of the gray filtering bar. You can then start adding files to the existing folders you just created.
The Documents section keeps all your files centralized and creating folders lets you organize them the way you want. Visit the support center to learn more about creating folders, sharing files, and collaborating on documents in your project management app.

Projecturf offers simple ways to collaborate on files and gather feedback on designs. When uploading a new design or document to one of your projects, just fill out the message box to begin a new discussion. If you send an email notification with the new message, users will be able to reply via email. By adding a message, you can solicit feedback, add any important comments, and ask users to make changes or add information to a file. All comments on documents and designs are linked directly to the Discussions section. You will see the number of comments associated with each file to the right of the file name. By clicking on the number of comments, you will automatically be directed to that specific discussion where you can add a reply or make other changes.
If a document or design has already been uploaded, you can start a discussion about it from the Discussions section. After you click to add a new discussion, change the type to Document or Design and then select the file name from the drop-down menu. From there, you can set permissions and send email notifications of your new discussion.
Each project in Projecturf includes a Documents section to centralize all your files. When uploading a document, you can set permissions by checking off the names. Anyone given permission can upload a new version of the file. This is a simple way to keep track of all revisions and always have the latest file available. This also eliminates the need to email files back and forth or spend your time searching for the latest one. To use this feature, click on the action panel to the right of the file name and select "new version" from the drop down list. Once you've uploaded a new version, it will display the most recent document with the prior versions indented below it. You will have access to all previous versions and see who uploaded them. Visit the support center to learn more about file versioning.
Also, If you need to have a discussion about the file or have someone update it, you can collaborate on it by starting a discussion when adding the document. This can also be done from the Discussions section and users can reply quickly via email.
