Will it cost me anything to sign up for the 30-day free trial?
No! We don't require a credit card to sign up for the trial, so you will not be charged. The free account is limited to 2MB of file storage space and a single project. If you do not upgrade to a paid plan before the trial is over (we will remind you via email and with a notification within the system), you will be moved to our limited account, which is also free.
How does 30 days free on all paid accounts work?
The first 30 days on all paid accounts is free. Unlike the free plan, there are no limitations on file storage or projects. Projecturf will verify your credit card is correct with a $1 verification (which is removed by your credit card company afterwards), but you will not be charged until after your 30 day trial has expired. After the 30 days, billing will commence monthly, starting on your anniversary date. This ensures there is no interruption in service.
What is the limited account and is it free?
When a free trial account reaches the end of 30 days, it will be moved to a limited account if you do not upgrade to a paid plan. A limited account has most features disabled, but will still allow you to use Projecturf to manage some aspects of a single project. Various sections, such as documents (which allow you to upload and share files), tools (for reporting), calendars, and more, are not available in the limited account. We will notify you prior to changing your account to limited.
If I upgrade from the free trial will I get 30 days free again?
If you upgrade your account from the free trial at anytime during the 30 days, you will not receive a free trial on the paid plan you choose and your credit card will be charged on the day you upgrade.
Do you issue refunds?
We do not issue refunds for any reasons. If you cancel your account you will no longer be charged and if you downgrade your account you will be charged the new price in the following month.
Will the prices increase based on the number of users I have or amount of storage space I utilize?
No! We allow as many users as you need and there is no limit to the amount of storage on your account. The prices are based solely on the number of projects you use. Although other hosted project management and collaboration tools limit your storage, we find it a crucial component for many high functioning teams.
Do you offer different ways to pay for the service? How will I be invoiced each month?
Projecturf is a pay-as-you-go service. If you cancel, you will not be billed again. Currently, you cannot pay for the service in advance. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American express which you will be asked to provide when you sign up. To get an invoice of your current monthly bill, just go to My Account and you will find them under the Transaction History section.
What is the difference between open and closed projects?
You may close a project so that it will not be counted against the total number of projects allowed under your current plan. Just click on the Settings for the project you wish to close in the Projects section. From here you will be able to click the selection to open / close your project.
How do I change plans?
Changing plans only takes a few seconds! Just go to My Account and click on the Membership Terms & Plans link within the account settings section. From here you can instantly upgrade or downgrade your account.
Is our data backed up and secure?
Your data is backed up nightly in case of an emergency. Also, we use SSL encryption on all of our accounts (including the free accounts) to keep your data safe and secure.
Please describe the access level set-up in terms of the workflow?
System Administrator – Project Managers - Users
Each account has a system administrator that assigns project managers to any project. Then the users / project team are added through the project settings page by the system administrator or on the contacts page of the project by anyone. Users can edit / delete their own information, tasks, etc., whereas project managers can edit / delete all the user(s) information (excluding their contact info.).
What if I am added to multiple Projecturf accounts?
If someone is on projects from multiple systems, Projecturf will give you access to a systems section where you will first pick the system to work in, and then you will manage your projects. This makes it very easy to manage multiple systems. You just remember one username and password to login with and you’ll have access to any and all Projecturf systems that you are associated with!
What are your customer support hours?
We offer help through our email support system and our forum. Our official customer support hours are Mon. – Fri. from 8:00 to 5:00 PST. For all paid plans, you will receive a response within 24 hours on business days. We do our best to answer everyone’s inquiries as soon as possible and even outside of normal business hours when feasible.
How do I create and login to my custom URL?
Please go to System Preferences in My Account to set up your private Web address. You will see an empty box following the URL: http://www.projecturf.com/account/. Enter the name you wish to use for your personalized URL here. This private Web address, which contains your name or logo for complete branding, may now be used as a login for all of your projects! You may also use the generic login at: http://www.projecturf.com/app/ or the login page on this site.
Why are the fonts on my system different colors?
When you choose your system color, there will be two separate font colors used in your application. The system color you choose will be used as the font color for project managers, while all other users will have a different color. This is to quickly and easily decipher who are the managers within the project. Each combination of colors was chosen to make your home at Projecturf visually appealing.
