Release Notes

Both major and minor releases for Projecturf are documented below. In addition, we post important updates to the Projecturf Blog. If you would like to make suggestions for future enhancements to Projecturf, we encourage you to do so in our Suggestion Forum.

Version 2.0.7 (Published July 23, 2010)

1. NEW: added multiple approvals to Designs and Documents
2. CHANGE: updated message character limited to 4000 for the Designs and Documents sections
3. CHANGE: removed .tiff and .tif file types from image previews due to browser plugin inconsistencies
4. FIX: sorting within Project Completion Report was fixed so subtasks sort correctly
5. FIX: fixed date entry fields to ensure the date is properly formatted

Version 2.0.6 (Published July 1, 2010)

1. FIX: fixed issues with events and tasks not spanning multiple months on the Calendar
2. FIX: fixed issue with double file showing up in add new panel for Designs and Development after upload
3. CHANGE: improved file upload button and visibility

Version 2.0.5 (Published June 25, 2010)

1. NEW: added the ability to move designs into other groups when you edit them
2. CHANGE: made the last group used in Designs be the default for new uploads
3. FIX: updated phone numbers entry to work with international numbers

Version 2.0.4 (Published June 23, 2010)

1. NEW: added vCard download option to the Address Book and Contacts sections
2. NEW: added ability to delete all unregistered contacts from the Address Book and Contacts sections
3. NEW: preview images in browser window in Designs, Documents and Development sections
4. NEW: added ability to edit design permissions and filename
5. NEW: revised icons for design section
6. CHANGE: updated discussion comments from Version 1 so they are grouped together in a single thread
7. CHANGE: updated subtask sorting. If sorting by start date, subtasks will be sorted by their start date and then the order created. Original sort was start date and then title
8. CHANGE: updated Dashboard recent events to ensure all records have a bolded title value
9. CHANGE: updated Tasks and Development sections when viewing Global projects to show full project title in the Title tag and format correctly with project names
10. CHANGE: switched the timecard and screenshot icons in the Development section

Version 2.0.3 (Published June 17, 2010)

1. NEW: added color coding/labels to the projects page (set on the project settings page)
2. FIX: fixed issue with file upload button being trimmed in some browsers like Firefox
3. FIX: fixed missing borders on various pages in data tables
4. FIX: fixed issue with adding calendar items that included times between 12:00-12:59AM
5. FIX: corrected problem with "Last Online" value not getting properly updated
6. FIX: updated the Discussion Topics & Replies report so the "Last Comment" gets properly updated

Version 2.0.2 (Published May 26, 2010)

1. CHANGE: File links in Discussions section now link directly to the corresponding section and filter by that file vs. download
2. CHANGE: When filtering records no option is set on the black bar
3. CHANGE: Revised table sorting to increase performance and retain sorting preference for each section
4. FIX: fixed issue with registration email link not working correctly
5. FIX: fixed issue with additional info not showing with some bookmarks
6. FIX: Project Completion Report fixed so tasks and subtasks without ending dates are included
7. FIX: Bookmarks were updated so the additional info field gets properly stored when adding new bookmarks
8. FIX: Email process was updated to ensure the from name was set as the company name when available
9. FIX: Updates to the Tasks section to prevent errors with invalid date formats
10. FIX: Reduced the number of characters in the document file name to prevent wrapping when viewing files in folders
11. FIX: Created document folder process to ensure duplicate folders can't be created
12. FIX: Fixed icon for Audio files not showing up in the documents section
13. FIX: Updated file edit process so file version permissions got updated to match the latest version
14. FIX: Added URLEncoding to file downloads to prevent issue with files containing reserved characters
15. FIX: Added code to the calendar to strip out task records that include line breaks, fixing issue of some tasks not showing up correctly on the calendar

Version 2.0.1 (Published May 13, 2010)

1. NEW: added amount field to current plan section
2. CHANGE: increased font in project brief on dashboard
3. CHANGE: added all features to all plans
4. CHANGE: changed remove admins button text to more clearly indicate action
5. FIX: fixed screenshots not showing up on development tickets
6. FIX: fixed issue with London timezones on calendar events
7. FIX: fixed issue where trying to submit a new task with the end date set prior to the start date disabled the submit button
8. FIX: forgot password page missing on custom URLs
9. FIX: fixed folders from version 1 not showing up in version 2
10. FIX: file count in folders was wrong
11. FIX: fixed issue where projects that did not have a status were being set to cancelled

Version 2.0.0 (Published May 9, 2010)

Hardware Upgrade (Published January 2010)

1. UPGRADE: transition to new cluster servers with Tier 1 hosting provider and upgraded hardware configurations to support growth and system-wide software update.

Version 1.8 (Published July 2009)

1. CHANGE: added .25 hour increments to timecards
2. CHANGE: added user and project names in timecard export file (.csv)
3. FIX: corrected display issue with add new boxes in safari 4
4. FIX: corrected non-secure items error in IE on help screens
5. FIX: corrected minor permissions issue with author being able to view documents assigned to others

Version 1.7 (Published January 2009)

1. NEW: added due dates for projects (managed in the project settings page)
2. CHANGE: upgraded standard SSL security certificate to EV SSL (Extended Validation SSL) on all accounts for the highest level of browser security and data transfer protection

Version 1.6 (Published October 2008)

1. NEW: added new new to duplicate a project, which copies all tasks and milestones into a newly created project
2. CHANGE: added capability to sort gantt chart alphabetically, by due date, or by start date

Version 1.5 (Published September 2008)

1. NEW: associate tasks with milestones and click link to jump right to item
2. NEW: added a tools section with new reporting tools
3. NEW: created a project completion report with percentages to track complete project progress
4. NEW: added a gantt chart for milestones and tasks that allows user to dynamically change date range and jump to item
5. NEW: created new alerts section to manage email notifications per section and project
6. CHANGE: you can apply multiple filters and sorts to tasks and milestones
7. CHANGE: re-organized menu items in navigation for easier use
8. CHANGE: updated project brief icon
9. CHANGE: project link in email notifications now opens directly to corresponding project and section
10. CHANGE: task email reminders now contain dates and milestone associations

12. CHANGE: removed Projecturf copyright footer on paid accounts
