Projecturf was built using a simple, but highly effective workflow. Consisting of administrators, project managers, and users, this workflow makes it very easy to create projects in a snap and manage the access levels of users. It takes a few seconds for the admin to create a project and then you can assign managers and users directly from your address book with just a few clicks.

Once your project is created, you'll use your dashboard to track progress, communicate important announcements to your team, and review all the latest activity from all users. When managing multiple projects, admins can view a master calendar of all milestones on their projects page. Project managers and users can manage milestones directly within the project itself. Communication is a critical aspect of completing any project. The discussion features can be used throughout projecturf to more efficiently communicate and collaborate with team members. You can create new threads and respond to general discussions, as well as comment on designs and project documents.

When you need to find something quickly, use the search tool to segment and filter your results by sections. This allows you quick access to the information you need, when you need it.

As we mentioned earlier, Projecturf is the only tool that gives you unlimited storage space for files. Using additional levels of permission within our documents section, any team member can specify who should have access to certain files. This comes in handy when working with private information or sharing files between clients, co-workers, or employees. Our most recent release includes a brand new section available on all paid plans, called Tools. Here you will find a very useful Project Completion report that will give you an overview of all the milestones and tasks associated with the project, their status, who's responsible, and the overall project completion percentage. We've also added a simple, but dynamic gantt chart. It provides users with the same information they'll get from tools like Microsoft Project (show duration and hover pops up here), but without all the work. Our gantt charts are created for you automatically and you can change the date dynamically, which gives you business-class reporting for each project in real-time.

We've also added the ability to use start and end dates on tasks and to associate them with milestones, two features that have been highly requested by our users. Another feature requested is the ability to manage email alerts. Although all system email alerts are turned on by default for every user on every project, individual users can now manually turn off email alerts by section for each project specifically.
